About TMC & The Mama Behind it

Thread Mama Collective began when my last baby was born and I decided for health reasons to take a leave of absence from my fifteen-year long teaching career. I had initially planned to try to start a tutoring business to help fill the income gap. 

I have had a Cricut since the expression series 🤣 and have used it to make bulletin boards and later on clothing and spirit wear for my son when he was born and when he began to play sports.

This past September, I began making shirts on my Cricut for family and friends when multiple people urged me to start advertising my work because they loved my designs! 

I quickly added a refurbished, converted Sublimation printer to my equipment line up to save on costs and expand my capabilities.

And my latest piece of equipment is a DTF printer which came into the mix in December of 2025. 

I have completed HUNDREDS of multi-item orders for TMC. I work almost non-stop around the clock to provide my clients with their ideal products! You'll see I am a pretty efficient one-woman operation. I handle everything from organizing orders, ordering inventory, designing with customers and working with wholesalers, to actually creating the product and sometimes delivering it to your door or boutique while I'm also a full time mom. 🩷
